This 70-credit unit course equips learners with the proper skillsets to be competent Phlebotomists in blood sample drawing. Learners would be imparted with foundation and core knowledge relevant to Phlebotomy, understand indications & precaution to undertake appropriate preparation & technics. Clinical attachment is the integral component and can be arranged at *alternative approved site, if needed. The Learners shall learn and develop adept Phlebotomy skills from mannequin practical to chairside patient services under close supervision to ensure professional competence, patient safety and quality assurance.

Objectives
The course aims to impart learners with medical foundation knowledge cum phlebotomy core knowledge as well as the proper skillsets to enable competency in blood sample drawing.

• Minimum O level or N level certificate or WPLN Level 6 or equivalent
